Just like Christmas lights, when a pixel goes out the rest will be affected due to the nature of the system being wired in a series. Rest assured that your system still works, and no harm will come to it.

Typically, there are two ways a pixel will have an outage:
1. A single color will no longer work preventing either Red, Green or Blue from being displayed and used in combination.
2. The pixel is unable to display any colors.
